Project Description

Premier provided the DSA Inspection services for the construction of a new Student Union building. The new building will serve as the heart of student life at Los Angeles Southwest College. The building enables social interaction by providing flexible and contemporary spaces to work, study and play as well as add student lounge spaces, a gaming room, conference and meeting spaces and offices for the Associates Student Organization, Student Life, and Administration. 

The Student Union will be a two-story moment-frame structure with approximately 31,000 SF of gross area and 19,000 SF of the assignable program area. Site improvements include a new concrete hardscape and planted landscape surrounding the building, a large outdoor meeting and dining area, and a replacement of the adjacent fire lane parallel to the building
